Hannah Schmitt | Ayurveda, Holistic Health & Ayurvedic Massage for Women
I am Hannah Schmitt, a physician trained in western medicine with a focus on Ayurveda, holistic women’s health, and Ayurvedic massage. My work combines modern medical knowledge with traditional healing systems to support women in returning to balance, regulation, and long-term wellbeing.
I chose my path in medicine with the intention of understanding health at its roots. From 2018 to 2025, I completed my medical studies and graduated as a German Medical Doctor at the University of Cologne, Germany.
Alongside my medical training, I felt increasingly drawn to holistic approaches that acknowledge the close connection between body, mind, and lifestyle. This led me to Ayurveda, yoga, and integrative women’s health as complementary systems to conventional medicine.
Yoga became an essential part of my personal and professional journey. After completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2023, I pursued advanced trainings in pre- and postnatal yoga, pelvic floor health, and hormonal yoga, deepening my understanding of women’s health across different life phases.
These disciplines continue to inform my holistic and embodied approach to Ayurveda for women, stress regulation, and hormonal balance.
To further deepen my integrative work, I trained as an Ayurveda Women’s Health Coach in 2025 and am currently continuing my education as an Ayurveda physician at the European Academy of Ayurveda in Frankfurt.
In parallel, I have completed numerous online trainings in classic European phytotherapy, including courses with CERES, focusing on medicinal plants, tinctures, and individualized herbal therapy.
In addition, I am training as an Ayurveda Massage Therapist, offering Ayurvedic massage treatments such as Abhyanga with a strong focus on nervous system regulation, hormonal balance, and deeply restorative care for women.
My work combines: modern medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, Ayurvedic massage, classic European phytotherapy, yoga and lifestyle medicine…
…to support women in a sustainable, holistic, and medically grounded way through all stages of life.

How I work
1
Philosophy
I believe that the body is not malfunctioning when symptoms arise, but communicating. My work is guided by careful listening both medically and holistically, and by the intention to support women in understanding their bodies rather than fighting them.
2
Time
In my work, I take time. Each consultation and treatment is approached individually, with respect for the woman’s life phase, nervous system, and personal history.
3
Who I work with
I work primarily with women seeking a holistic and medically informed approach to health, especially those navigating hormonal changes, chronic stress, digestive issues, thyroid concerns, or phases of transition such as pregnancy, postpartum, or perimenopause.
4
Heart
At the heart of my work is the intention to create a space of safety, regulation, and trust, where the body can soften, reconnect, and return to balance at its own pace.
